Wastewater Treatment
For decades, DuBois has been an innovative leader in industrial water treatment. Our wastewater treatment, process, cooling and boiler products stand out for being safe and easy to use. DuBois products are tested and then classified according to their potential impact on waste treatment. This allows for the most logical product selection based on substrate requirements and contaminant removal capabilities.

Split 130
Synthetic medium molecular weight cationic coagulant supplied as a convenient-to- use liquid. It is used for emulsion breaking, coagulation or flocculation of suspended solids and sludge conditioning in process and wastewater streams. Split 130 may also provide a cost benefit when fed with primary coagulants such as alum, ferric chloride, etc, by reducing the inorganic feed amount and sludge produced. Waters treated with Split 130 tend to form more stable, easily flocculated solids which often result in reduced sludge volume. Some of the processes in which Split 130 is used include; Flotation, Waste Dewatering, Oil/Water Separation, Turbid Water Clarification, Industrial Waste Clarification.
Benefits:
Efficient, cost effective coagulation of suspended solids.
Cost-effective supplement to inorganic coagulant usage.

The product improves gravity settling of raw municipal sewage, steel mill scale, furnace scrubber water, neutralized plating salts, latex waste, food processing, phosphorus removal and metallic oxide separation processes. Floc size is generally larger, allowing for rapid dewatering and is not appreciably affected by wide pH variations.
Benefits:
Convenient liquid
Flocculation in a broad pH range.
Excellent flocculation of precipitated heavy metals.
Elimination of pin floc and light floc carryout.
Less sludge volume in many cases.
Floculite 402
Liquid emulsion type, high molecular weight cationic flocculant which works effectively as a coagulant aid or sludge conditioning agent and retention aid. The product improves gravity settling of raw municipal sewage, steel mill scale, furnace scrubber water, and improves paper machine fiber retention. Floc size is generally relatively small, allowing for rapid dewatering.
