Rheological Modifiers

Key components in paints, coatings and inks, which control the characteristics and properties of liquid products. Without these special additives, liquid media would be as "fluid" as water. During application, the paints would splatter in all directions, they would have little covering power and their useful life would be much shorter. Rheological modifiers allow formulators to adjust the flow behavior of paints and coatings. This way, painters benefit from viscosity and improve application characteristics.
