It is the treatment that is given to a metallic surface in order to create a protective barrier against the environment that can generate oxidation or corrosion in said surface. The protective barrier is made up of a chemical coating and on top of it a physical coating (in most cases paint). DuBois products are formulated to achieve an optimal chemical coating that guarantees a correct protection against oxidation and corrosion, as well as a better anchoring of the paint on the metal surface.
